Interim Spaces: Performative exploration of space (retrospective)

Clouds in their fugitiveness have always fuelled human imagination. Similarly the deep rooted wish to fly, to take to the sky has given rise to innumerable stories, films and dreams. CLOUD COUNTRY is the photo log of a single journey that I took from Tokyo to Paris and traces the resurgence of a sense of wonder and discovery in the albeit distant reencounter with this planet. And while observing landscapes of clouds and countries from the sky in the end the story seems to suggest locating that country of desire in that odd space of transition and impermanence.
